So much has been going on in my life lately that I really haven’t had the time (or energy) to post on the blog. The past few months have been such a roller coaster that I have been left trying to catch my breath and figure out where the hell I’m going to next.
Thankfully, life is finally getting back on track. There have been so many changes that have happened to my family and I over the last few months, that I cannot begin to cover them all in this single blog post, but I hope to reveal them all soon in future posts. But with life slowing down on the amount of punches its been throwing my way, I think I can safely say that I can ease back into my blogging routine.
And about that blogging routine…
I really have no intentions of earning a living from this blog. I never did. This blog was meant to be a place that I could divulge my thoughts and stories about my life and if people wanted to listen, then that’s groovy. When I write on this blog, I have a place in which I can share my heartaches and my accomplishments without running up my mother’s phone bill.
All that being said, I do like to be organized and I try to set goals for myself. With this blog, I want to try to maintain some semblance of a schedule that I can follow with my posts, that a way all of you lovely readers will have some sense of what days I’ll be blogging about what and what days I’m just going to go on random tangents (because I have a tendency to ramble…).
I plan on posting something on here most days, but I might have to skip an occasional day, depending on my work load and what my family has planned. Here is a rough schedule of the topics I plan to write about each day of the week:
Sunday: Couponing/Frugal Living/Weekly Goals & Accomplishments
Tuesday: Herbalism/Natural Living/Pregnancy
Wednesday: My Shopping Hauls/Meal Plans
Thursday: Unjobbing/Working From Home/WAHM
Friday: Homesteading/Tiny Home Living/Gardening
I know, I know, it’s kind of a cluster-fuck of a schedule, but it’ll give me a base to work with.
Something else I plan on doing is listing weekly goals and accomplishments. I used to do that on my old blog, The Frugal Hippie Housewife, and really enjoyed writing those posts, but I haven’t brought that idea over here, until now. Some of you might not care one way or another what my weekly plans are, but it’s something that gives me a bit of guidance on what my intentions are for the week and whether or not I am successful. If anything, it helps me develop better time management skills – something this working mother is constantly trying to perfect…
With mine and my family’s recent move to a farm in Missouri, I plan on having quite a lot to write about in the areas of gardening, homesteading, and our tiny home building plans. I’ll probably include some posts about our critters as we slowly add them to the farm, but that’ll be later on in the year.
So, what are some things YOU would like to see from this blog? This blog probably seems like it covers far too many topics, but I’m a woman of many interests and passions, so I can’t possible run enough blogs to cover everything that I love. 😉 Let me know what you’d like to see me write about and I’ll do my best to cover it!
